Albery Seixas da Cunha (Belém PA 1944 - Rio de Janeiro RJ 2003)
Painter and printmaker.
Studies Drawing and Engraving at the National School of Fine Arts (ENBA), in Rio de Janeiro. In 1967, he held his first solo show at Galeria L'Atelier. Between the years 1970 and 1977, he lives in Paris, where he develops artistic works and is dedicated to the study of the French language. In the 1980s, he divided his time between the cities of Rio de Janeiro and New York. He executes a mural, together with six architecture students, on Rua São José, in Rio de Janeiro, in 1982; He paints a panel for the Museum of the City of Belém, in Pará, in 1989. Portraitist, performs portraits of several celebrities among them: Princess Caroline of Monaco, Elizabeth Taylor, Catherine Deneuve and the Duchess of Windsor.
