Angela Gomes (Vila Velha ES 1953)
Angela Gomes is a painter. He studied with the painter Celina Rodrigues. He participated in the collective exhibition, at the Arts Center of Barra do Jucu, in Vila Velha, in 1978, and at the Homero Massena Gallery, in Vitória, in 1980 and 1986. In 1983, he began work with people with mental disorders hospitalized. at the Adolfo institution, which resulted in the exhibition Art of the Unconscious. The artist returned to painting only in 1986. Among the outstanding exhibitions in her career are: the Salão de Marinha, at the Brazilian Society of Fine Arts, in Rio de Janeiro, in 1986; the collective, at the Homero Massena Museum, in Vila Velha, in 1988; and the Brazilian Bienal de Arte Naif, at SESC Piracicaba, in 1994.
