Daniel Mullen (Glasgow, 1985)
Vive e trabalha em Amsterdam.
O pintor abstrato Daniel Mullen nasceu em Glasgow, na Escócia, em 1985. Formou-se em 2011 na Gerrit Rietveld Academy, em Amsterdam, cidade onde reside atualmente. Mullen já teve seus trabalhos expostos em Londres, Vancouver, Nova York e, recentemente, realizou sua primeira exposição no Direktorenhaus Museum, em Berlim. O ponto de partida de Mullen é a paixão pela arquitetura e construção de espaços, o que mais o fascina é criar ambientes e, na sequência, esvaziá-los. Produz perspectivas e jogos de ilusão de ótica que ocorrem entre a combinação da pigmentação e da geometria.
